The Internet Exchange Federation (IX-F), which includes Euro-IX, APIX (Asia Pacific Internet Exchange Association), and LAC-IX (Latin America & Caribbean Internet Exchange Association), was formed in November 2012. In November 2012, at the 21st Euro-IX forum in Stockholm a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between APIX (Asia Pacific Internet Exchange Association), LAC-IX (Latin America & Caribbean Internet Exchange Association) andEuro-IX (European Internet Exchange Association), to form the Internet Exchange Federation (IX-F).
